R5 Construction's commercial division has many years of project management experience. We specialize in tenant improvements up to $500,000 in value. If you need a new space or add space to your growing company, we will deliver your project on time and on budget.

Industrial       

JOHNSON MATTHEY - $2.3 Million - Renovation of an existing research and manufacturing center.  Scope of work included:  demolition, site work, new electrical service, chilled water system, DI water system, construction of new laboratories, roofing, new motor control center, tank farm, clean room and epoxy floor.

SPAN AMERICA - $1.0 Million - Demolition of 150,000 square foot manufacturing plant.  New electrical system, demising walls, and install new eight bay loading dock area.  Site work for new parking lot and loading docks.  Paint exterior and epoxy floor.

Institutional

ACTS RETIREMENT COMMUNITY - $1.7 Million - Lima and Southampton Estates. Spring House Estates scope of work included, complete renovation of an occupied dining facility.  Ground out addition with high end interior finishes at the Southampton Estates.
Spring House Estates.  Scope of work included, complete renovation of an occupied kitchen, new mechanical and electric systems, new plumbing system, dishwashing room, ceiling and quarry tile floor.

TEMPLE UNIVERSITY - $100 Thousand - Scope of work included complete renovation of Laboratory.

Public & Private          

833 CHESTNUT STREET, PHILADELPHIA - $2.0 Million - Social Security and Bureau of Census.  Two 20,000 Square foot tenant improvements.  Scope of work included carpentry, new electrical, new HVAC and plumbing systems.  Interfaced with client and GSA to deliver a space compliant with specific lease requirements.

APHTON CORPORATION: NAVY YARD of PHILADELPHIA - $500 Thousand - Interfaced as a construction manager with PIDC, Aphton, and Athenian Properties to deliver a high end tenant improvement.  Scope of work included, carpentry, store front walls, new electrical systems, and new plumbing.  Delivered a 12,000 square foot tenant improvement in 30 days.  Exceeding the 45 day schedule by 10 days.

JOHN HEINZ WILDLIFE REFUGE - $1.2 Million - Ground out 10,000 square foot addition for the US Fish and Wildlife.  Green building constructed of wood framing, built on piles above environmentally sensitive area.  Constructed following green building policies and practices.

CEDAR SHOPPING CENTERS - $3.0 Million - Academy Plaza, Shore Mall, Swede Square, South Philadelphia Plaza, Riverview, Port Richmond, Washington Center, Red Lion Shopping Center. Renovation of various spaces throughout all centers.  Scope of work included, new HVAC, electrical systems, new electrical services, and new plumbing systems.  Demised spaces to accept tenant leasing requirements.

STAPLES - $1.8 Million - Renovation of existing space for retail tenant improvement.  Scope of work included, new HVAC system, electrical system and plumbing.  New steel roof joist and steel corrugated decking, and complete package carpentry.

FIVE BELOW - $200 Thousand - Harrisburg and Cherry Hill locations.  Retail tenant improvement including the installation of all fixtures.

Terminal A West - $1.5 Million - Philadelphia International Airport. Constructed food courts throughout the terminal and created white boxes ready for tenant improvement.
